Up to £12,893 per annum plus Market Supplement of £1,313 per annum - to be reviewed March 2022

2 days per week Thursday – Friday on a Flexi-time working basis

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic Environmental Health Officer to join our Food and Health & Safety Team. Work areas include food safety, infectious disease control including Covid 19 outbreak investigations and health & safety enforcement.

We are a busy customer focused team who are currently seeking a self-motivated officer with the ability to prioritise and plan their own workload using a risk based approach. The post holder will ensure compliance to relevant legislation by using a variety of measures including offering advice, education, partnership working and enforcement measures as necessary. You will be an excellent communicator and team player.

We offer a flexible working environment which consists of both an office, home and district based working arrangement to suit the needs of both the department and the Officer. We have an extremely generous annual leave policy of a minimum of 29 days increasing to 36 days after 5 years’ service (pro-rata).
