Environmental Health Officer (2 Posts)
Band 8- 9 - £27,741 to £33,782 per annum (subject to qualifications and experience)
Full time 37 hours per week – Home and remote working options available.
Requirement to visit within District.
(Temporarily Remote due to COVID)
We are looking to appoint two Environmental Health Officers on a permanent basis who are either fully qualified or working towards achieving this. The role will focus mainly on environmental protection and will contribute to ensuring that our regulatory obligations are met within this work area and across the wider environmental health function. The post will also help to contribute to the Council’s ongoing response to the Covid 19 – pandemic.
The successful candidates will add additional expertise and capacity to the Council and enable us to enhance the work that we do to address matters such as statutory nuisance. Alongside this the role will entail working on the broader Environmental Health functions within the Council
