SEN Assessment and Commissioning Lead

Our client in East London is looking to appoint a SEN Assessment and Commissioning Lead. For this assignment it is essential that you have experience of commissioning/management within EHCP service.
This will require good knowledge and experience of budget management, project management, partnership working, stakeholder management and strong levels of political awareness. The role will require research and critical analysis of information and data, options appraisal, as well as provider improvement, monitoring and evaluation.
1. The post holder reports to Group Manager SEN
2. The post holder has line management responsibility for up to 3 staff
3. The post holder should show awareness of the available budget to support children with SEN, the need to work within budget constraints and value for money principles
4. The post holder may be required to work occasional evenings and weekends in order to meet service requirements
5.You will define and agree outcomes, service needs, approaches, performance targets and other requirements which ensure services contribute to the strategic aims, quality and value of the council and its partners.
This role is an initial 3 month contract and will have a pay rate of £350 - £400/day umbrella depending on experience and interview.
