Job Details
Our client based in Norfolk are looking to appoint a Pollution Control Environmental Health Officer who is able to deal with the range of issues they investigate including Statutory nuisance investigation, noise monitoring and enforcement. You will also be asked to deal with Drainage investigations and enforcement.
To be successful in the role is it is very important that you have experience doing this role, for another Council for at least 2 years, they are aware this is a broad role so more experience of the above tasks, the better the chance you will be successful but not all are essential. The position would not suit a recently qualified EHO or someone who has no experience in Environmental protection as we a quite busy and need someone who has experience and can hit the ground running.
This is a one year contract, starting ASAP! Rates will be from £33 per hour. You will be expected to be on site for at least 2/3 days per week and admin can be done from home.
