Hours: 35 hours per week

Salary: £41,059 - £44,899 p.a

Job Purpose: Responsible for the full range of operational duties in relation to Environmental Health. In addition, there may be a requirement to undertake the role of a specialist officer.
Provide supervision, guidance and training to Technical Officers and Student Environmental Health Officers.

Requirements
BSc/MSc in Environmental Health and REHIS Diploma in Environmental Health (or equivalent) and evidence of continuing professional development.
A commitment to regular travel across the Council area. (Travel throughout Highland will be required)
*Given the nature of this job, you will be required to make visits away from your normal base. A driving licence is highly desirable, but consideration would be given to you making alternative arrangements as long as these meet the operational requirements of the Service.
