Food Safety Officer

I am working with a local authority in the Greater Manchester region that is looking to bring in an EHO to help with the increase in Food Safety work for the next 9 MONTHS with a potential extension thereafter. With a rate that will start from £35+ an hour.

They are looking for someone to start as soon as possible, so if you are looking for a new contract then get in contact today!

The Food Safety role requires you to:

• Undertake food safety inspections.
• Re-visits with potential enforcement action.
• Investigate complaints relating to poor food hygiene practices and advise businesses on improvements.

The local authority is currently set up for home working and you will only be required to be in the district when you are inspecting and you will be able to complete paperwork from home. They have a lot of work to get through in the next 9 months so if you like being busy then this is the role for you!
