Salary/Grade: £29,576 to £34,728 per annum (Pay bar at £32,233 depending on skills and experience), Grade 10/11.

Hours/Days: 37 hours per week

Job Details and Requirements

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Environmental Health Officer to join our Commercial Team supporting our residents and businesses through effective food safety and health and safety regulation.  The team is also responsible for infectious disease control and private water supply monitoring.  You will also be heavily involved in the Covid pandemic recovery work and taking enforcement action to protect our communities where required.

The service is embarking on a significant improvement programme and we are looking for exceptional professionals who can help develop and improve how we deliver our service.

Whilst previous experience in this field is desirable, an EHRB qualified person embarking on their career or looking for a career change would be welcomed.  Full training and support will be provided.

Located on the edge of the Peak District and the Sheffield City Region, our innovative Strategic Alliance is making sure we have effective and efficient public protection services and we have recently invested heavily in developments and improvements.
