Job Details
Our client, based in North West England have an excellent opportunity for those looking for a long term contract. They are looking for an experienced EP officer to work in their Public Protection Team for a minimum of 6 months.
You will have practical experience of enforcing legislation within a local authority, and have full understanding of the practicalities of carrying out compliance and enforcement work. Duties will include responding to enquiries and undertaking investigations relating to general pollution/environmental protection work including but not limited to statutory nuisance, planning applications and local air quality.
In order to be considered it is absolutely essential that you have a minimum of 2 years experience of working within a local authority setting. Post graduate experience and a qualification in noise measurement and control would be an advantage.
This is a full time post, working 36 hours per week and rates on offer will be from £35 per hour Umbrella.
