Environmental Health Officer / Higher Certificate Technical Officer

Our client in the West Midlands is recruiting for an Environmental Health Officer / Higher Certificate Technical Officer to start ASAP.

You will be expected to carry out proactive and reactive food hygiene inspections; Investigate complaints concerning the safety and fitness of food and investigate accidents. You will also be required to carry out Covid compliance work.

The successful candidate will possess a relevant qualification in Environmental Health and a certificate of registration with EHORB (or equivalent). Excellent verbal and written communication skills including negotiation and presentation are essential.

To be considered for this work you will need to be food competent as defined by the FSA. You will need to be able to provide evidence of your food CPD record in support of your application as well as professional references and a CV detailing your work experience.
