Our client, based in Gloucestershire are looking to bring in an experienced Environmental Health officer who have recent experience of food safety inspection and enforcement. You will primarily be involved in the inspection of category C-D food premises. Depending on experience, you may be asked to help within other areas as well such as the delivery of the Council's functions as a port health authority including the inspection of ships and issue of ship sanitation documents; control of imported food and feed and the control of public health; animal health and pollution.

In order to be considered you must be EHORB registered and hold a minimum of 20 hours CPDs covering the last 2 years. This role is home based but will require work in the District on most days. You must also have access to a vehicle and mileage on district will be paid. This is a full time post, working 37 hours per week but the client is willing to consider those who are available part time.

Rates for this role will start from £35 Umbrella.
