Environmental Protection Officer

Fancy coming in and saving the day? Well, that's exactly the type of person I'm looking for!

The local authority that I am working with is looking for a modern-day superhero to come in and help with a backlog of work that has piled up over the past 12 months. The council is situated in a very desirable location in Staffordshire easily accessible from all directions, they have said that rates will be in the region of £35.00 per hour depending on experience, for a minimum of 3months.

They are looking for someone to:

• Deal with stat noise and nuisances.
• Comment on the planning applications that haven't been seen to.
• Be available on the district to cover any urgent reactive work that comes in.

They anticipate that the role will start off at a 3month rolling contract but this will likely go on for 12months due to the amount of work that they have.

About You.

They are looking for someone to come in and hit the ground running and someone who can work independently. Experience the duties noted above is essential, you do not need to be an EHO but you will need to have at least 2years' experience.
