Job Details
Our client, based in Surrey are looking for a Licensing, Grants and Home Improvement Agency Manager to provide interim effective leadership and management of all of the functions of the council's Licensing, Housing Grants and Home Improvement Agency services. This role is primarily focussed on managing the Council's small Licensing team, managing licensable functions including alcohol and entertainment, taxis, animal, body and mind as well as charitable collections.
Experience of managing Licencing activities and the ability to support other team members as well as deal with more complex licence cases will be essential if you are successful in this application. Experience of the work of Home Improvement Agencies is not essential as the role will be providing general line management support only.
Is successful you will be offered an initial 4 day a week contract to the end of August paying £40PH LTD. There is some scope for remote working but not exclusively. Attendance at Committee and in person meeting will be required on occasions.
