Our client in one of the home counties just north of London is looking to appoint an experienced Licensing Officer to join the team on a 4 month (minimum) contract.

The post holder will be expected to undertake a number of different duties which will include inspection, complaint investigation, enforcement, all Licensing job tasks such as TEN's, variations, renewals and applications for Taxi, PHV, Premises, Animal Welfare (possibly), Gambling Act.

You will be expected to have a working specialist knowledge of licensing legislation and requirements, and the ability to demonstrate a specialist working and up to date knowledge and application of legislation in the area. You will also have a working knowledge of relevant Health, Safety and Welfare legislation and approved Codes of Practices.

For this assignment it is essntial that you have experience working for a Local Authority
in a Licencing Enforcement capacity. Although some duties will be able to be undertaken working remotely, you will be expected to complete site visits around the borough so you must make sure that you are able to travel and be in reasonable proximity.

As mentioned previously, this role is a minimum 4 month contract, the job is full time and the rate sits at £32-£36/hour (umbrella).
