Environmnetal Health Officer

Looking for an Environmental Health Officer, to join a busy Environmental Protection team at a Local Authority in Yorkshire for an initial 3 month contract period.  

About the Role: 

My client, based in Yorkshire, is looking for an Environmental Health Officer to assist the Environmental Protection team in: 

Processing and investigating statutory nuisance complaints.  

Commenting on planning applications, assessing impact on local community. 

Qualifications: 

EHRB registered 

Degree in Environmental Health 

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role 
 

If successful, you will be offered an initial 3 month contract until the permanent vacancy is filled so this may be extended. They have said that rates up dependant on the successful candidate’s experience, however I would expect it to fall between £32-£35 per hour Umbrella (circa £55k-£60k per annum). Although they are ideally looking for a qualified EHO, if you are an experienced Technical Officer with proven knowledge in the above then you would still be considered.
