Environmental Health Officer 

Salary:   £34,393 TO £38,708 per annum

Hours: 37 per week permanent

You will be working in one of the most vibrant economies in the UK. We are seeking applications from officers who are qualified and competent to undertake official controls as part of a team dealing with food, health and safety, infectious disease control, health promotion and training. You will have a key role in a small highly motivated and competent team contributing to cross-service work as well as the wider corporate agenda. In taking on this exciting role you will be part of a team working to deliver services in a truly transformational way to meet the challenges of the Council’s Corporate Plan, and making the District a safe place to work, live and visit. A District where you will help create the level playing field in which business can thrive post covid.

We are currently working full remotely for the foreseeable future when we anticipate returning to the office on a flexible basis which will still include work from home and flexi time opportunities but candidates should be within commutable distance of our offices in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire or able to attend meetings as required if further afield.
