Team Leader - Housing Standards (Ref: EENH004)

Salary: Up to £45,859 pa plus £4k pa market supplement + car allowance up to £1,239 pa

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Team Leader, to manage our Housing Standards Team to ensure high quality services are delivered to our residents and businesses.

You must be committed to continuing the cost effective and efficient delivery of the Council’s comprehensive Disabled Facilities Programme and promote high levels of compliance in the private rented sector as well as proactively engage landlords with HMO licensing.

You will have proven experience of successfully delivering complex cases including enforcement actions, together with proven experience of successful staff management. With excellent interpersonal and communication skills, you will be expected to be able to supportively mentor best practice to other officers, prepare and present reports to other internal/external meetings, deal with members of the public, engage with other agencies and stakeholders and support existing partners.
