TECHNICAL OFFICER / ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH OFFICER

Based at Jubilee House, Arnold, Nottinghamshire

£27,041 - £34,728 per annum (career-graded)

An opportunity has arisen to join the Public Protection Team as an Environmental Health Technical Officer on a permanent full time basis.

Working in this busy team you will be required to address a full range of environmental protection matters.  Of particular importance is experience in addressing Noise and Statutory Nuisance, Industrial and Domestic Air Pollution Legislation, Contaminated Land and a working knowledge of the IPPC regime.

This is a career graded post and candidates will be appointed to the following scales:

1. EHRB registered (band 9 - £32,910 to £34,728)
2. Environmental Health degree, BSc or MSc (band 8 - £30,451 to £32,234)
3. Relevant degree (band 7 - £27,041 to £28,672)

* Candidates meeting the full person specification for the role can be appointed straight to band 9.
