Food Safety Officer

20 hours a week is the perfect amount to fit beside your current role, or perhaps you are getting back into work and this will help ease you in.

Covering mainly inspections rated C-E and some complaint work, the role will require 1 day on site and the rest working from home.

Ideally, you can get started on this assignment straight away. Rates £30 – £35 per hour, this could go higher for the right person.

You must have a solid, recent knowledge of current food safety/hygiene standards and regulations. You must either be a certified EHO or hold a higher-level certificate in Food Safety. It is essential that you have an up to date knowledge of current legislation and have over 2 years’ experience working within Food Safety in Local Authority
