Senior/Environmental Health Officer OR Senior/Environmental Regulatory Officer

Permanent, part-time (18 hours flexible), salary £19,067 to £23,049 p.a. (dependent on experience) plus essential car user allowance.

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Environmental Health Officer or Environmental Regulatory Officer to join our busy team.  Your full duties will primarily cover all aspects of food safety and hygiene, health and safety, public health and animal welfare licensing.  You will be doing site visits and premises inspections.  Under covid-19 conditions, desk-based work is carried out while working from home.  You will need your own transport to get around the district.

You will be enthusiastic, committed, self-motivated and have a positive attitude. You must be an excellent communicator with sound time management skills and be confident in dealing with members of the public.  You must be able to demonstrate your ability to adapt to changing priorities and work to tight deadlines.
