The Association of Environmental Health Managers is a charity which supports local authority environmental health services in London. We are looking for an experienced environmental health professional to manage the work of the Association. Working largely from home, you will be responsible for delivering membership services and managing the regional network on behalf of Alehm’s local authority members. Under the overall direction of the Executive Board of trustees, the work will include setting up and facilitating regular member meetings and training courses, supporting the London wide technical liaison groups, representing London’s environmental health teams at high level meetings across government and with other regional and national bodies and increasing the profile of environmental health in London.
Contract: 80 hours a month with a salary up to £28.00/hour (equivalent to a full time salary of around £50,000) includes NEST pension contributions and 15 days annual leave. Working hours are flexible and adaptable.
Alehm is a charity and membership organisation supporting all 33 London Boroughs. The organisation’s strategic aims are to support the work of member local authorities and improve standards of environmental health in London.
