£52,886 to £59,848 per annum (subject to job evaluation)

£6,289 car allowance

Would you like to be part of the setup and design of a brand new port health service?  You could be building your own team, systems and processes and contributing to the smooth running of the border at Dover and the protection of food safety and public health in the UK.

As a result of Britain’s exit from the European Union, we are significantly expanding our Dover Port Health Authority and are building a whole new team.

Would you relish the opportunity to manage the operations of a large port health team? Everything from ensuring compliant practices to driving forward new and innovative ways of working, managing a 24/7 workforce and embedding a culture of team work and efficiency.

In this role you will be responsible for the day to day running of the Dover Port Health Authority.  We are looking for two managers whose skills complement each other so that all the areas of operational management in this technical and specialist area are covered.

If you are a strong operational manager and have experience working in a similar environment we would love to hear from you.  This really is a unique opportunity to build something from scratch and be in it from the beginning.
