Environmental Health Officer – Public Protection (Environmental Health)
Permanent 37 hours per week
Grade 8 i.e. £32,234 - £35,745 per annum
Bassetlaw in North Nottinghamshire is home for 117,000 residents and benefits from excellent road and rail connections. Due to retirement we are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Environmental Health Officer to join the Public Protection Team to deliver a range of regulatory functions in relation to the intervention and enforcement actions to food and health and safety.
Being part of the Public Protection Team you will cover a wide range of duties including providing advice and guidance on food safety, food hygiene inspections, workplace safety, investigating food/hygiene complaints, infectious disease notifications, reported accidents, sampling, special projects, promotional and training activities.
If you possess a BSc in Environmental Health and are EHRB Registered, we would love to hear from you.
