Environmental Protection Officer

Our client in the Midlands is recruiting for a part-time (18 hours p/week)  Environmental Protection Officer to carry out duties in relation to pollution control, nuisance and respond to statutory consultations for planning applications.

Main duties

·Undertake inspections, sampling and other visits to assess compliance with relevant legislation

·Respond to all service requests and statutory consultations within the remit of the work of the team

·Take appropriate enforcement action against those failing to comply with relevant legislation

·Investigate alleged breaches of legislation

·Provide advice and guidance
