Environmental Health & Housing Team
Environmental Health Officer / Technical Officer
Temporary 1 year. GRADE 5/6/7/8. £20,904 – £34,729
North Lincolnshire has established itself as a great place to live, work, invest and visit. Our rural setting, with picturesque villages with routes for cycling and walking also acts as a global gateway for international business, with excellent links by road, rail, bus, sea and air. Our historic market towns, excellent educational establishments and close proximity to major cities such as Hull, Lincoln and York, makes North Lincolnshire a place that is valued by those who choose to live and work here. North Lincolnshire Council is changing at pace. We have radically restructured to better serve our customers. We are hugely ambitious for the area. Changing how we operate to be more commercial, progressive, enabling and financially sustainable underpins this approach.
Environmental Health Officer / Technical Officer
This temporary post provides an excellent opportunity for someone seeking experience in regulation of private sector housing with a focus on introducing a scheme for additional licensing.
Applications are welcomed from qualified Environmental Health Officers, although we also encourage applications from students in training, newly qualified EHO’s or Technical Officers who will be appointed into the career graded role subject to knowledge, skills, and experience.
