- Band I (£32,234 - £35,745)
- Temporary – 24 month contract
- 37 hours per week (Part-time will be considered)

Lichfield is a vibrant and historic city and district located in the heart of Staffordshire just north of Birmingham.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Environmental Health Officer/Technical Officer to undertake official food controls and inspections in a range of food businesses including high risk and non-compliant premises. You will also get the opportunity to support the Authority with its ongoing response to the Covid- 19 pandemic by providing advice and guidance to businesses.
You will need to be motivated by achieving high quality customer-focused service delivery and positive public health outcomes. Excellent communication and IT skills are essential and you'll need to be a confident, organised, flexible and outward-looking team player, with a practical common sense approach to the job. Experience in enforcement work is required.
