Food Safety Officer

Are you and Environmental Health Officer with Food Safety experience? Are you looking to work completely remotely? Then I have just the job for you!

I am working with a busy council in the Essex area who are looking for an experienced Food Safety Officer to join the team for an initial six month contract paying a competitive salary. The role will involve:

·       Working independently and virtually to contact businesses to assess risk

·       Advising businesses on food safety issues and resolutions

·       Providing advice on Covid-19 related matters to the general public and to business

About You:

·       You must either be a certified EHO or hold a higher-level certificate in Food Safety

·       It is essential that you have an up to date CPD

·       You must have at least two years’ experience working within Food Safety in Local Authority’s

·       Health and Safety experience is preferred but not required
