FOOD & SAFETY OFFICER (COMMERCIAL)
£30,451 - £35,745 p.a. plus benefits package and essential car user allowance
As part of the Commercial Team you will be required to carry out proactive and reactive food hygiene inspections and interventions, investigate complaints concerning food, health and safety and infectious diseases. You will organise the team sampling programme. You will undertake “hazard spotting” at interventions and participate in other Health and Safety intervention strategies as required.
You will hold a BSc in Environmental Health or a Higher Certificate in Food Control, be EHRB Registered and have proven recent experience as an authorised Food Safety and Health and Safety Officer. You will possess strong communication, organisational and time management skills, and be able to work as part of a team or on your own initiative. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
