Job Details
Our client in Surrey is looking to appoint a Covid 19 Officer to join their team. You will contribute to an effective and specific response to the Covid-19 pandemic in the Borough. As a member of the council's team, contribute to the achievement of the Council's corporate vision, behaviours and priorities and the development of the Council's positive high performing culture.
Here you will be responsible for planned and reactive investigations or inspections based on programmed work or service requests received in relation specifically to covid-19 outbreaks, cases or complaints. This can include commercial premises and residential properties. Identification of legislation, technical knowledge, and equipment to prepare for inspections and interventions to enable effective intervention.
Working closely with public health colleagues in the assessment of actual or potential outbreak situations and reacting to ensure transmission is minimised or eliminated.
This assignment is due to start ASAP and will run for an initial 1 month contract with the chance of an extension. This role will be 36 hours per week at a rate of £40 per hour and is outside IR35.
