Our client in the South West of England is looking for a Food Safety Officer to join their team on a long term contract.

Undertake the full range of duties appropriate to the Food section as required, being responsible for the completion of work programmes and tasks laid down by the Team Leader and where necessary supervise the work of Technical and Administrative Assistants.

Personally undertake inspection and enforcement duties including those of a more complex nature, evaluating risks to safety and health.

Follow policies with regards to Covid and PPE, and you will need to submit personal risk assessments before acceptance.

Inspect all risk categories of food premises for food hygiene and food standards.

You must be able to prove your food competency with over 20 hours of CPD.
