Covid Enforcement/ Response Officers

Our client in the North West of England is seeking x3 COVID Enforcement/Response Officers to join its team initially until March 2021.

Main purpose

To deliver a holistic Covid business advice and enforcement remedy including:

Business support and social distancing advice and solutions to high risk, priority small businesses, with advice chat facility.

Rapid response to issues requiring a firm remedy into the Covid Track & Trace Hub associated with any outbreak.

Targeted media including mobile media boards located in socially distanced challenged areas ( it is understood that a Comms project is currently underway and this could link so this has not been costed)

Requirements/knowledge

1. Provision of support to the Covid-Investigation functions within the Council.
2. Ability to assist with intelligence led/ rapid response to incidents
3. Effective partnership working with other local authorities and Police.
4. Confident, well presented individuals able to represent the Council professionally.
5. Enthusiastic and willing to work both proactively and reactively.
6. Willing to work on a business need basis - i.e willing to work anywhere in the borough but also willing to work evenings and weekends where we need it.
7. Would suit individuals with recent enforcement experience.
8. Ability to prepare witness statements and capture evidence.
9. Able to complete patrols.
10. Knowledge of video capturing/ evidence gathering/ use of bodycams (or willing to be trained).
11. Confident dealing with high pressure situations and/or potential conflict professionally.
12. Knowledge of covid- enforcement issues.
13. Able to drive and willing to use own vehicle for business.
