Job Details

Licensing Enforcement Officer required to undertake a role which will see you working out on district 2-3 days per week. You will carry out site visits and compliance checking to ensure businesses across the district are adhering to conditions of their license agreement. You will also provide an advice service and respond to inbound service requests either via phone or email. You will be able to undertake a certain amount of work from home but this is not a 100% home based role.

Our client needs someone with site based experience i.e. a background in enforcement related work. The role will focus on street trading. Critical to this role will be your customer service skills and your ability to deal with Licensees to resolve any problems, answer any queries and ensure the Council delivers an excellent service during these difficult times. Our client would be interested in applications from those who have previously worked in law enforcement and have a knowledge of licensing.

The role is based in Oxford and given the requirement to be on district we need people who are in the catchment area. Our client will consider part time applicants.

The contract will run until the end of March at least and pay up to £30/hr (umbrella).
