Principal / Lead Officer - Food Safety - £50/hr

Excellent opportunity to secure a key role in our clients Food Safety Team and play a vital role in helping manage the team over the next few months. At Principal grade you will act as a key reference point in the team for helping organise work load and priorities and you will work with the service manager to inform decision making.

As with most local authorities right now the food team is under increasing pressure to deliver their inspection programme whilst also being able to respond to the emerging challenges of Covid-19 response work.

Our client requires someone who enjoys a challenge and is confident in their strong track record as an EHO combined with their previous team leading abilities. You will need excellent communication skills with the ability to quickly analyse a situation and decide on an appropriate strategy for dealing with a busy workload. It is vital that you are able to motivate and support those around you who are working under very demanding circumstances.

This particular client is one we have a very long standing relationship with and we have placed many EHPs over the years. They are an excellent organisation to work for who fully embrace Contractors as valid members of their team and you will not be held back in your career development. You will actively be encouraged to implement your ideas and share your experience for the benefit of the service.

The role is based in Oxfordshire and will run for the rest of the financial year at least.
