Covid-19 Business Support Officer

Buckingham Futures is working with our London client who is recruiting for a for an experienced Health and Safety Professional to work on a project delivery programme, in relation to Covid-19 Health & Safety Business Support and Training for businesses across the Borough and in particular in town centres.

Duties:

Directly liaise with independent retailers to prepare them for a future that requires making them all Covid-19 secure, to ensure a consistent approach, and give confidence all across the borough.

Provide an immediate in person face-to-face support service to businesses requiring assistance in how to adapt their premises to meet the new Covid-19 regulations, including social distancing guidelines, licencing, QR codes, wearing of facemasks, opening and closing times, etc.

Provide an effective engagement strategy to maximise the number of shops advice is accessible to working with town centre business groups, town centre managers, and Covid-19 support officers.

Train and give guidance to advisor’s to visit the business premises to give advice following extensive advertising of the service through Council communication channels

Implement a drop-in facility for businesses within the town centre. Potentially using pop up marquees or town centre hubs (Covid-19 restrictions permitting).
