Excellent opportunity to assist our client's efforts to deal with the effects of the coronavirus pandemic. The role will focus on community engagement work and you will work as part of our client's Healthy Communities team.

You will oversee their community engagement activity through a range of channels including work with third sector outreach providers. A key project you will work on is the development of their 'Community Champions Programme' and you will have involvement with early stage strategy planning. Some of this work will focus on data and information collection, collation and sharing in order to inform decision making in respect of engaging with various target groups.

You will be key in helping make decisions and rolling out subsequent action plans. As required you will supervise staff on certain projects.

To be successful in this role you will need a decent level of experience in public health project work. Previous team leadership experience is required and you will need to be a good project manager. Previous roles will have given you excellent communication skills and you will be able to draft detailed, informative communication material in an appropriate manner for the audience concerned. You will be creative with the ability to respond to sudden change.

The role is based in East London, will run until October 2021 and the rate will be £45/hour (umbrella). The standard week is 35 hours.
