An exciting opportunity has arisen at Bedford Borough Council for a Food Safety professional within the Commercial Regulation Team, responsible for enforcing a range of statutory and regulatory functions associated to Food Safety and the investigation of infectious Diseases etc.

Ideally you will have experience of operating within a similar role undertaking inspections, complaint investigations, food sampling and infectious disease investigations, with a range of associated knowledge and investigative skills to help protect the public and legitimate businesses. In addition you will hold a relevant qualification such as The Higher Certificate in Food Control, or recognised equivalent.
