Job Details

Excellent opportunity to take a lead role in our clients team as they work to deal with issues arising from Covid-19. The role will focus on providing proactive support and advice to the borough's schools, early years providers and youth service providers in carrying out, updating, and putting into practice their infection control and prevention risk assessments.

You can expect to be managing your own project team of 2-3 Officers and you will work with colleagues within Children's Services, Public Health, and Environmental Health. The role will involve carrying out visits in schools so you will need to be comfortable with this aspect of the job. Typical site based activity will include the provision of relevant training.

You will also be involved with providing an advice helpline for stakeholders, including to school staff and nursery staff, and when appropriate, for parents.

The role is most likely to suit an Environmental Health Officer or Public Health professional with solid experience of infectious disease. You will need good team leadership skills with the ability to help plan the workload of your team.

The role is based in South West London, will likely run until at least the end of March and we'd expect a rate of at least £35/hr (umbrella).
