Building Control and Public Protection Officer/Senior Officer (Health and Safety)

£31,346 - £ 33,782 per annum

37 hours per week

Based at Keynsham Civic Centre (near Bristol and Bath)

We are looking for an enthusiastic, suitably qualified officer to join our Health, Safety and Food team.

You will be required to undertake proactive and reactive Health & safety and food inspections and interventions, investigate accidents and infectious disease notifications.

You will have a BSc or Diploma in Environmental Health, NEBOSH or other suitable qualification, and have proven current experience as an authorised Environmental Health, Food Safety or Health and Safety Officer.

You will possess strong communication, organisational and time management skills, and be able to work as part of a team or on your own initiative.

Due to coronavirus, you will be required to work from home, although you will be required to travel around the Bath and North East Somerset area to carry out inspections and visits, therefore, a current, full, driving licence is essential.
