£27,741 - £33,782 pa (subject to experience)

37 hours per week

Fixed Term (for 12 months from date of appointment)

Based at Keynsham Civic Centre (near Bristol and Bath)

We are looking for an enthusiastic, suitably qualified officer to join our small team.

This post will have a focus on ensuring that contact tracing works effectively whether in the event of single cases or outbreaks.  The post will provide advice and support to businesses and members of the public on the requirement and implementation of legislation and guidance in relation to Coronavirus and support the authority’s implementation of the National Contact Tracing scheme.

You will have a BSc or Diploma in Environmental Health, or other suitable qualification, and have proven current experience as an authorised Environmental Health Officer or in infectious disease control.

You will possess strong communication, organisational and time management skills and be able to work as part of a team or on your own initiative.

Due to corona virus, you will be required to work from home, although you will be required to travel around the Bath and North East Somerset area to carry out inspections and visits, therefore, a current, full driving licence is essential.
