An exciting new role has just opened up with one of my clients based in Yorkshire, where they are actively seeking to recruit an Environmental Health Officer, to assist their team for an initial 6 month period. The role will see you covering low risk food inspections, whilst also assisting the Environmental Health team with their COVID19 outbreak control plan
Main Responsibilities:
- Carry out low risk food inspections
- Give advice to business' on current covid-19 guidelines
- Review covid-19 risk assessments
- Inspect businesses to ensure covid-19 compliance
- Enforcement as required
Details:
- 37 hours per week
- £30-£35 per hour
- Flexible working days
- Remote working (some district work required)
About You:
An up to date knowledge of Food Standards and Food Safety Legislation is essential. You will also be required to have a qualification at degree level or equivalent professional qualification in Environmental Health, or in Food Safety and Food Standards. Either EHRB registration or a Higher Certificate in Food Control/Safety is also an essential as well as 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
