Covid Compliance Officer - £35-£40/hr

Excellent opportunity to secure a very flexible contract role with a client in North London. They are looking for a Covid Compliance Officer to carry out work across the district and will consider part time or full time working arrangements.

The role is fairly straight forward and will involve carrying out inspections to check against a documented check list. Essentially it is a health and safety compliance role. There will not be any enforcement activity involved, it will be more of an advisory role.

It would be perfect for a Health and Safety Officer with local authority experience. Given the level of technicality involved it is not absolutely essential that you are EHRB registered but you will need an appropriate amount of work experience in the field and you will need to have previous experience in a local authority setting. It would also suit those with a background in food safety work who can demonstrate a sound knowledge of health and safety requirements in a business setting and with the ability to work against a set list of compliance criteria.

For those with Food Safety experience the role could also be combined to encompass some food inspection work but this is not essential if instead you would like to solely focus on the Covid compliance checking task.

For the part time role we probably need commitment of at least 2 days per week and it may be that one of these can be weekend working or the hours can be made up outside of normal office hours. Our client is open minded as to the working arrangements and would like anyone with a specific interest in this role to put themselves forward for consideration.

The work will more than likely roll on to the end of March 2021 and they are prepared to pay market leading rates of £35-£40/hr based on your level of experience.
