Food Safety Officer

With Covid related work swamping the resident team members, councils are looking to contractors to help with keep other areas afloat.

A Hampshire based Local Authority is looking for a Food Safety Officer to work with the team for 3 days a week. The role will be covering mainly high-risk inspections and enforcing Health & Safety. The contract is 3 months to begin with an immediate start. Rates £30 - £35.

What’s great about this council, is that although outside of London, travel time from capital city to the council takes just over an hour by car or train! 

About You:

You must have a solid, recent knowledge of current food safety/hygiene standards and regulations. You must either be a certified EHO or hold a higher-level certificate in Food Safety. It is essential that you have an up to date knowledge of current legislation and have over 4 years’ experience working within Food Safety in Local Authority
