Job Details

Our client has a backlog of around 100 Cat C and D premises which need inspecting ASAP and no later than the end of March 2022. The work could easily be allocated to one Inspector as the work schedule is completely flexible; we're happy to split if needs be.

They are following FSA guidelines in respect of Covid safety measures and would require you to carry out an on site physical inspection following pre inspection work to determine safety measures in place. You will work in line with their Risk Assessment. You will complete the inspection, inspection report and establish and issue the Food Hygiene Rating Score. Admin work will be handled in house.

To carry out this work you will need recent experience carrying out food safety inspections on behalf of a local authority. If you do not have recent inspection experience your application will not be considered. We will need evidence of your food competency and CPD record.

This is an inspection contract so you will be paid per completed inspection. The rates will be £45 for a Cat C and £40 for a Cat D.

The work is based in the South West within 1 hours drive or Bristol and Taunton.
