Are you looking for a role where you are going to be an essential part of the team? Well, this role is exactly that!
A Local Authority I am working within the Lancashire area is looking for an Environmental Protection Specialist to join their team on a contracting basis.
You will be required to cover:
- Air Quality
- Contaminated Land
- Commenting on planning applications and permits
- Risk assessments.
- Taking sample readings and completing reports out on district.
Flexible/ Home Working is available although you will be required to come into the office/ on the district to assist with reactive work as and when required.
Ideally, the Council is looking for someone to start ASAP. Rates are negotiable based on experience. This contract will initially run for 3 months with a view to extending.
About you
You will need to be an experienced Environmental Protection Officer with relevant knowledge of the above areas. Consideration will be given to both EHORB Registered Environmental Health Officers and Technical Officers with the relevant experience.
