An exciting opportunity has arisen at Bedford Borough Council for a qualified Environmental Health Officer within the Commercial Regulation Team, responsible for enforcing a range of regulatory functions associated to Health & Safety, Licensing and Commercial Nuisance, as well as supporting the delivery of programmed food safety interventions when required. At the current time you will also be involved in assessing and ensuring business compliance with Coronavirus requirements.
Ideally you will have experience of operating within a similar role, with a range of associated knowledge and investigative skills to help protect the public and legitimate businesses. In addition, you will hold relevant qualifications and be registered with EHRB.
