Location
London
Salary
£19 - £21 per hour
Closing date

Job Details

You will provide admin support to a number of teams working across our client's Public Realm team whose general remit is to manage anything to do with street activity and waste operations. You will assist with data input and correspondence work and you will assist in maintaining and developing various specific IT systems. You will attend meetings and you will distribute minutes and agendas as well as any relevant memo communications.

To carry out this role you will need good admin skills and a keen eye for detail. Ideally you will have knowledge of the services mentioned but the role would also suit those who have worked across other local council departments and are familiar with typical local authority admin procedures. Any knowledge of technical drawings / software (e.g. CAD / GIS) would be an advantage but is not absolutely essential.

The role would be perfect for an Enviro Health graduate or those interested in work in Public Protection or a Local Authority setting. It would act as an excellent spring board for someone at an early stage of their career.

The role is based in North London, within very easy reach of Kings Cross station although home working is in operation at the moment. The contract will last at least 4 months. The pay rate is good, at least £19/hr (umbrella).
