Excellent opportunity to take a up a role part time, 15 hours per week, working for a client in Berkshire.

You will be working with a range of organisations across the district and will be given full enforcement responsibilities. You will carry out investigations (remote and on site) and you will be providing advice and working to and deliver an efficient, responsive and proactive service in respect of environmental health functions. Specifically you will focus on Covid related issues to you will be involved with H&S compliance checking.

Given the current climate we would expect this role to run until at least Xmas but very probably for the next 6 months. The days and hours are fairly flexible, it equates to 2 days per week but I think the preference would be for you to work the 2 days back to back if possible. You will be able to complete a fair amount of work from home.

To fulfil the requirements of the role you will need to be a very competent Enviro Health Practitioner with recent experience in a local authority and a through, detailed knowledge of local authority enforcement powers. You will need to be able to travel to various sites in the District so you will need access to a vehicle.

A very good rate is on offer with very flexible work terms, the pay is £35/hr (umbrella).
