 We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual with experience of working in a regulatory environment with sound knowledge of the full range of Environmental Health legislation.

You will be expected to work in a busy team, delivering great customer service, have a flexible and resilient approach, sound judgement with the ability to provide advice and carry out enforcement action as required, as well as taking part in pro-active initiatives. The role will primarily be focussing on COVID-19 control in workplaces, business and the community and will involve both reactive and proactive interventions by working with partner agencies, businesses and the wider Public Protection Team at Rochdale Borough Council.  

You will be working with a diverse range of enquiries and referrals and will also be involved in contact track and trace work in workplace settings and communities within our Borough.  An ability to effectively manage and prioritise your own workload and adapt to evolving situations and emerging issues is essential.

You will be flexibly based with a mixture of working within purpose built, award winning office accommodation in the town centre which is currently undergoing multi-million pound regeneration, and working from home.
