Food Safety Officer

A client in Gloucestershire is seeking one or two qualified and competent Food Safety EHOs to help with a backlog of inspections. You must be EHRB registered. There are around 200 Category C - E inspections that need to be carried out ideally by the end of September. The start date would be within the next few weeks.

You must have previous Local Authority experience carrying out Category C-E inspections and enforcement sanctions e.g. formal Notices including prohibition, and seizure. You must also be available to work on some evenings where necessary.

No data entry/inputting will be required and handwritten reports are  to be left with the business.

A Covid risk assessment and PPE eg disposable face mask and gloves will be provided, prior to the contractor commencing work.

Additional skills in H&S and/or infection control or public health may be useful for this project.
