EHO - Food x 4

Four 12 month vacancies exists within the Food and Safety team of the Regulatory Services Partnership covering the a South London Borough to assist with work around test and trace, social distancing enforcement and food safety inspections. Principal duties will include undertaking programmed food safety inspections and interventions at a range of premises in accordance with the FSA Code of Practice and Practice Guidance as well as to risk rate food businesses in accordance with the requirements of the Food Hygiene Rating Scheme. As well as other tasks you will be asked to review health and safety and COVID-19 risk assessments and carry out on-site health and safety checks to ensure COVID-19 compliance.

They are looking for 4 food safety officers; 2 must be qualified to either higher certificate or degree level and registered and 2 which are lower level potentially graduates who need experience. Previous experience in Environmental Health/food safety is desirable but consideration will be given to candidates in a position to complete their CIEH Competency Development Portfolio to achieve either the Higher Certificate in Food Control or the Advanced Professional Certificate in Food Hygiene and Standards Control.

When applying please specify which role you are looking for. You will be paid £23-£25 for the lower role and £33-£35 for the higher but we are happy to consider higher rates for more experienced Officers.
