Job Details
Our client has 2 vacancies for qualified Environmental Health Officers. They need you to help manage their work in relation to contact tracing so you will be contacting businesses across the area in response to service requests and you will also be actively involved in proactive inspection and enforcement work.
You will need to be able to travel across the district (North West of Birmingham) so you will need your own transport. You will need to have experience of food and / or H&S enforcement work within a local authority team. If you only have experience from the private sector you will not be suitable for this role as it is essential you understand local authority enforcement procedures.
Our client is willing to consider those looking for part-time work but we'd need at least 3 days per week. The roles will initially be offered for 2-3 months but given the current situation there is potential for them to be extended into the new year.
We expect to pay around £30-£34/hr.
